There is a large selection of claddings available these days. Most claddings can be secured to a single skin of frame construction. This meaning that that overall footprint of the property is now larger internally.

Cladding makes little contribution to the thermal efficiency of external walls in frame construction, so choosing the most effective wall insulation batts is crucial in creating high performance thermal walls.
